Is Skyblivion available yet?
Skyblivion, the long-awaited fan mod translating the world of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion into Skyrim, has set a firm release window – with the game set to be available by 2025 at the latest. The update was shared in a new trailer for the ambitious project, which has been in the works since 2012.
While ownership of both games is required to play, the player only actually plays Skywind using the Skyrim game, and not the older Morrowind game. This means that the user interface, combat, and graphics of the Skywind mod are based on those of Skyrim: Special Edition, and not Morrowind.
The latest trailer offers an "official release year announcement," declaring that Skyblivion will be done by 2025.

Skyblivion will work as most other mods you have downloaded on the Nexus, Steam Workshop or Bethesda Mods. Simply install the mod, launch Skyrim and create a new character. Will Skyblivion support other languages? Yes.
Now it seems fans can have the best of both worlds, thanks to a mod that recreates Oblivion using Skyrim's engine [via Eurogamer].
It is through the game's campaign that they become the Nerevarine, a mythical figure that is mentioned in Oblivion and Skyrim.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an easy recommendation for any player who wants to play games similar to Skyrim. The combat system is easily one of the more unique aspects of the game, and mastering it can take quite some time.
The Nerevarine is a reincarnation of the God Indoril Nerevar. He is destined to save Morrowind from the Blight. He succeeded at killing Dagoth Ur. and was respected by everyone until he left to Akivar for unknown reasons.
When focusing on the main objectives, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is about 27½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 184 Hours to obtain 100% completion.
How many years after Oblivion is Skyrim?
To date, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the latest entry in the franchise (chronologically speaking). The game takes place a good 200 years after the events of Oblivion, and the world has changed significantly.
Probably. We know that Starfield, launching in 2023 after its delay, is going to be finished before Elder Scrolls 6. In June 2022, Todd Howard described Elder Scrolls 6 as being in "pre-production." So hunker down—it's going to be a long haul.
Some games are surprisingly large. Oblivion, for example, is actually bigger than Skyrim's or Morrowind's map size, despite Cyrodiil being smaller or the same size as either province.
Oblivion does feel a bit more alive than Skyrim at times with random NPC's constantly coming up to the player and strange events happening almost all the time while traveling. There's danger in cities, quests around every corner, and one never truly knows what they're getting into.
Many regard Oblivion as the best game for its great quests, while others argue Skyrim is the best Elder Scrolls title with its satisfying combat. While in the same franchise, they offer completely new experiences that distinguish them from each other.
The game is good without mods, but the characters do not look very good. The game can have some issues without the OBSE plugin Stutter Remover and the game has several bugs that are only fixed using the Unofficial patches. Yes it is. But it depends on you.
Yes, Kvatch is under attack immediately when you start the game. What happens is that you can save Kvatch from the oblivion gate but you won't find out about Martin's significance until you go and give the Amulet of Kings to Jauffre.
No. Skyblivion is a remake of Bethesda's Oblivion using the Skyrim engine. Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil is an original expansion with new quests and content, set during the time of the Dragon Crisis, 200 years after the events of Oblivion.
“Now Alduin, and all of Skyrim, would know that it's more than possible to be Dragonborn on a plant-based diet. Supplemented by the occasional soul, of course,” Maher concluded. According to Kotaku, a mod in Skyrim lets you swim buck naked in a river of cabbage – you know, in case you really like vegetables.
Xbox 360 versus Mid-Spec PC
The Xbox 360 version of the game looks slightly better overall, though not by much. It also runs smoother, though you can't see that from a still image. You can tweak a mid-range PC to look just as nice, but don't be surprised if frame rates dip into the teens.
Can you be Dragonborn in Oblivion?
The only player character confirmed to be a dragonborn is in Skyrim, all others are up to interpretation with varying degrees of support as to whether or not they are a dragonborn.
Skyrim's Sheogorath Is Canonically The Hero Of Kvatch
With his parting words, Jyggalag calls the Hero of Kvatch by the name Sheogorath, and suggests they will one day grow into their station as the strange, Lovecraftian Daedric Prince.
Trueflame. The legendary sword of Nerevar. It's blade was surrounded with enchanted fire, allowing it to sear enemies, as well as to act as a torch. Trueflame was shattered into several pieces long ago.
Nope. The Nerevarine, as NPC rumours in Oblivion state, is on an expedition to Akavir during the Oblivion Crisis. Further, the Hero of Kvatch is most definitely not a Dragonborn (else they'd be able to wear the Amulet of Kings), whereas the Nereavarine…
Mages are one of the most interesting, fun-to-play character builds in Skyrim. By relying on magic, rather than strength and agility, mages provide a truly unique playthrough. Certain spells are essential for the up-and-coming mage: finding these spells early can make your mage stronger and more powerful.

Like most Elder Scrolls heroes, the Hero of Kvatch's age, race, and gender are completely up to the player, but the stereotypical Hero of Kvatch is an Imperial male - a sword-wielding Knight, Crusader or Paladin-looking warrior (judging by the E3 trailers, promotional artwork, and default in-game settings).
Hero of Kvatch (Oblivion) - Canonically male Imperial/Daedric Prince. Black hair, brown eyes. Hero of Rhalta (Oblivion PSP) - Canonically male Breton.
Vivec is an intersex (in both his mortal and divine versions), genderfluid, pansexual God. Crassius Curio hits on characters of any gender. The Buoyant Armigers were originally intended to be all male, and all Vivec's lovers.
Characters may also drink bottles of an illegal drug called "skooma." Temporarily, this will boost their speed and strength, but lower their intelligence and agility. This is not shown explicitly and your character cannot get "drunk" because the game refuses to let you drink many potions or alcohol.

- 3 Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (33.5 Hours) ...
- 4 Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall (32 Hours) ...

Unlike other RPGs, Oblivion is much easier at low character levels, as new levels only increase your Attributes. You get more Health, Magicka, Fatigue and Strength, Agility, etc. Therefore, you can increase your (minor) skills without increasing your level.
TES LORE ILLUSTRATED
Take “4E 201″ for example, the year that TES V: Skyrim takes place in. “4E 201″ can be split into two parts: “4E” and “201″. The “E” in “4E” stands for “Era”, which means that “4E” is the fourth era, and “201″ is the number of years that have passed in the fourth era.
Alduin, also known as the World Eater, the First Dragon, and the Twilight God, is the main antagonist and final boss fight of the 2011 action role-playing high fantasy video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
As in real life, most of the human races of The Elder Scrolls have an estimated lifespan of around eighty years.
All characters level up their skills at the same speed with use, and as such you're able to, eventually, reach the maximum level of 100 in every skill tree.
Skyrim Runs Out Of Memory
If you're still using the original version of Skyrim, the game can only use up to 4GB of RAM at a time. Going over that value will crash your game.
There are three homesteads the player can build: Lakeview Manor (east of Falkreath), Windstad Manor (northeast of Morthal), and Heljarchen Hall (south of Dawnstar).
The largest video game map belongs to No Man's Sky.
There's almost no limit to what you can and can't explore in No Man's Sky.
At 15 square miles, Skyrim's world is huge, but there are bigger. Let's take a look at other gaming worlds bigger than Skyrim that should keep players busy for a long time.
Why is Oblivion still fun?
In Oblivion, you get a taste of Morrowind's incredible RPG philosophies and mechanics without having to deal with that game's most annoying aspects. At the same time, Oblivion manages to be much more playable than its predecessor while still feeling deeper overall than its successor from a role-playing perspective.

It all comes down to one ever-popular aspect of RPGs: romance. In the single-player Elder Scrolls games, players have a select amount of characters they can build relationships with. Some of those relationships can even lead to in-game marriage.
The game never ends, and the player can continue playing after completing the main quest. The gameplay includes a fast-travel system, in which an icon appears on the game world map every time the player visits a new location.
When focusing on the main objectives, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition is about 31½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 169 Hours to obtain 100% completion.
It almost feels like a new game, albeit one made from rather rudimentary parts. I was expecting a nostalgia hit and an afternoon's fun. What I wasn't expecting was for Oblivion to hold up on its own terms and enthrall me all over again. Oblivion still holds up, even in 2022.
No, they don't (physically) respawn.. most of them appear across Tamriel together once you've reached a certain point in the main quest.
Read here for information on the history of the 10+ years of work on the Morroblivion project. Morrowind: 100% of the main Morrowind game has been completed, and is fairly well debugged (details here).
It all culminated in the fan favourite Oblivion title coming back, sort of, via in-game DLC called Gates of Oblivion. Well it seems that all good things must come to an end. The final piece of DLC for Gates of Oblivion is hitting consoles on November 16th. However, if you're on PC, Mac, or Stadia, it's available now.
Completing the Main Quest will make all existing gates close and no more will open. Closing an individual gate can only be accomplished by locating and removing the Sigil Stone that powers the gate.
What happens if you go to jail in Oblivion?
Going to jail will cause you to lose levels in a randomly selected skill each day of the sentence you serve (except for Security and Sneak which may increase, though it is more likely that your other skills will go down). The only way to prevent this is to sneak out of jail which is much easier said than done.
The Count will also give allies to Bruma. If Farwil dies, you can retrieve his Signet Ring and his Knights of the Thorn Medallion.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim mod called Skywind, an ongoing project to recreate the entirety of the Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind within Skyrim: Special Edition's game engine, is slowly but surely taking shape under the patient efforts of its all-volunteer development team.
Skyblivion has been in development for ten years and still isn't done, but work continues on the mod project remaking Oblivion inside Skyrim. The latest video is impressive, too, taking a 15 minute tour of areas, enemies, weapons and more that have been rebuilt, while outlining the work still to be done.

Rosethorn Hall may be the largest home in Oblivion, but it's also the most expensive. This house costs 25000 Gold without any upgrades, so you should be sure that you truly want it since it takes a long time to collect that much Gold.
As Daedric Prince of Destruction and Change, Mehrunes Dagon is responsible for the Oblivion Crisis and is the main antagonist of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Luck governs no skills directly, nor does it boost your skills over 100. However, it affects just about everything in the game. A luck value of 50 means that nothing goes for you or against you. Luck above 50 influences events in your favor.
Varel Morvayn at Morvayn's Peacemakers (Skill 40, 1200-2200 gold) - Varel is the best for expensive goods. Unlike the other exceptions, he will buy weapons and armor — the main money-maker for most players — without the need to first reach Journeyman skill.
